Originally founded in 1976 by Alan Lewis 7th Dan, the Crofton Shotokan School of Karate in Stubbington, Fareham provides Karate lessons for children and adults.

Our aim is to provide quality instruction for children and adults, promote health and fitness and give kids the perfect opportunity to get away from the Television and Computer games, learn a new activity, keep fit, make friends and have fun!
KARATE LESSONS for CHILDREN and ADULTS
With karate lessons for children from the age of 8 years and the opportunity for them to attend courses and achieve gradings through the SHOTOKAN OF ENGLAND KARATE UNION (SEKU) it's a great way to stay active and make friends.
It's also a way to ensure that your child has knowledge of self defence and self protectection.
Alan Lewis Chief Instructor at Crofton Shotokan School of Karate has over 50yrs experience. He has trained and been graded by some of the World's most Senior and respected Instructors: Master Enoeda, Shirai, Kase, Kanazawa, Asano, Takahashi and Kato.
Alan and his Instructors attend the Shotokan of England Karate Union's Instructors classes with the Organisations Chief Instructor Sensei Brian Smith 7th Dan.
Sensei Mick Dewey 8th Dan, founded SEKU in 1982 and is now the organisations Chairman.
Sensei Alan and his Instructors are DBS Checked and hold Emergency First aid at work L2 certificate
